Assistant/Associate Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement
Responsible for the daily management of department’s marketing and fan engagement activities for Athletics. The Assistant/Associate Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement is responsible for assisting with the coordination of marketing and promotional efforts for Boston College Athletics, its thirty-one athletic programs, and more than 730 student-athletes.
The position will report to the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement
Responsible for the daily management of department’s marketing and fan engagement activities for Athletics.
The Assistant/Associate Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement is responsible for assisting with the coordination of marketing and promotional efforts for Boston College Athletics, its thirty-one athletic programs, and more than 730 student-athletes.
Primary responsibilities include assisting in the management of football marketing, advertising, fan attendance, fan engagement, fanfest, and gameday experience programming.
Management and execution of annual women’s basketball marketing plan, advertising, attendance strategies, fan engagement, and gameday experience programming.
The position manages and coordinates strategy and scheduling of department’s email database and marketing.
The position will create and execute annual marketing plans for women’s soccer, women’s ice hockey, and softball.
The position assists the marketing department in research analysis for data management for customer satisfaction, revenue, and attendance goals.
In addition, the position will be the athletics liaison for BC band programs including scheduling and coordination of performances around athletic events.
•Associate Director: Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in intercollegiate marketing.
•Assistant Director: Minimum experience of 1 year in intercollegiate marketing.
•A bachelor’s degree is required.
•Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to foster and maintain working relationships with individuals representing other departments within the University, sponsors and prospects, and partners within the Boston College Community.
•Ability to work nights and weekends around athletic events.
