Oversees the day-to-day internal operations of The Owls Fund, focusing on donor services, stewardship, and strategic communication as it relates to the annual fund campaign. Responsible for the coordination and execution of all donor hospitality and fundraising events, plus former student-athlete events and communications. Works with the Director of Annual Giving and Ticketing to design, implement, structure, and evaluate Owls Fund programs and best practices. Identifies, cultivates, and solicits donors and prospective donors giving $500 or less.
Responsible for the planning and execution of all donor events, including Hall of Fame, alumni weekends, away game tailgates, and all aspects of the annual Dot Martin Scholarship Golf Classic
Responsible for the coordination and execution of all donor hospitality, including men’s basketball and football premium seating
Responsible for preparing and requesting reports for the department; including mailing lists, calling lists, reports to measure monthly key performance indicators and quarterly progress reports on overall revenue generation progress.
Responsible for customer service as the initial contact for inquiries received via phone, email and in person. Responsible for answering questions regarding how to make a gift, giving history, stewardship and engagement opportunities, Priority Point totals, etc.
Maintains budget data including records of expenditures for all The Owls Fund related expenditures
Oversees the creation and distribution of all print and electronic communications for The Owls Fund, including acknowledgement letters, newsletters, new member packets, postcards, and brochures
Solicits gifts and cultivates relationships with donors giving at the $500 level or below
Identifies high-level annual fund prospects and potential major gift prospects
Ensures proper and timely gift acknowledgement
Serves as liaison with University Advancement to ensure accurate record-keeping and acknowledgement of gifts and pledges
Develops and implements stewardship initiatives for donors at all giving levels
Assists with non-contractual aspects of premium seating relationships (i.e. ticketing questions, catering, and special requests)
Manages customer service strategies for development, serving as the lead for all matters related to donor services
Responsible for gift processing and reporting to University Advancement and Business Affairs
Assists in developing policies and procedures related to gift processing, acknowledging, and information sharing with University Advancement
Conducts in-person meetings with donors and prospects as appropriate
Represents development at all applicable game operations meetings
Manages students, interns, and volunteers
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge of NCAA regulations as they pertain to donors and fundraising
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal

Experience planning events
Proficiency with MS Office Suite with strong working abilities in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work effectively while representing multiple causes and interests with diverse constituencies
Familiarity with Paciolan, Paciolan CRM or other donor management system
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Familiarity with Adobe Creative suite is a plus
Ability to work independently
