Kansas Athletics, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for an Associate Director, Tutoring Program. The Associate Director, Tutoring Program is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the strategic tutoring program for designated sports teams including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and monitoring the tutoring staff, communicating student-athlete academic progress to assigned counselors and developing communications tools for use by staff, tutors and student-athletes.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; experience working with student-athletes in support of their academic endeavors; experience in hiring and supervising personnel; experience working in the personal and academic development of students from diverse backgrounds; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to work evening and weekend hours, including possible travel when necessary; experience establishing and managing extensive programs.
Preferred: Masters Degree from an accredited college or university; previous experience coordinating tutoring programs at high profile intercollegiate athletic program; previous experience with Grades First software application.
