Texas A&M University is seeking an accomplished professional for the position of Associate Athletics Director for Athletics Academics.
The Associate Athletics Director for the Nye Academic Center is responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining a program that provides quality and comprehensive academic support services to twenty sports. The program expectations include oversight of the Nye Academic Center, the unit’s budget, and all support programs and services provided to aid student-athlete academic success and personal development. The Associate Athletics Director will lead the athletics academic services staff and promote a climate of diversity, inclusion, equity, and accountability for staff and student-athletes.
Ability to work flexible hours (night, weekend & holidays) as required to complete assigned duties and event coverage.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five (5) years Athletics Academic advising at collegiate level.
Preferred: Ed.D, Ph.D, or related terminal degree. Minimum seven (7) years Athletics administrative experience at collegiate level and minimum three (3) years managerial experience in Athletics Academic advising.
