Donor Operations and Communication Coordinator, National Commodore Club (NCC) - 1701307
The Donor Operations and Communication Coordinator is responsible for handling operational services, donor relations and stewardship activities for the National Commodore Club. This includes coordinating the priority point and ranking system (the donor stewardship program that confers NCC benefits such as preferred seating at games according to contribution levels) and ensuring that donors receive the appropriate level of benefits corresponding to their giving amounts. Additionally, they will support the NCC in the development and delivery of an athletics communication and promotional plan. This position reports to the Director of the National Commodore Club.
• Manage National Commodore Club priority point and ranking system (30%). • Provide quality control to ensure that all gifts are reconciled between the Ticketmaster and Advance databases. Generate analysis related to NCC strategy and performance (30%). • Manage all aspects of the NCC communications including Commodore Nation content, NCC notes, game promotions, game-day collateral, and others as needed. Media will include print, email and video (30%). • Provide game-day support for tail gates and other events (10%). • Serve as liaison to Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) Advancement Services and Communications teams to secure support for various projects and to ensure compliance with DAR quality standards. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
• Experience working within athletics department and/or with development teams preferred. • Proficiency with Ticketmaster and/or Advance database systems preferred. • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Attention to detail, especially as it relates to data. Working knowledge of excel or other data manipulation software. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships with partners in Athletics, DAR and across the University. Also, strong customer and donor relations skills. • Ability to work independently and as a team member is required. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Evening and weekend work as needed.
