Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Associate Director, Student-Athlete Academic Services in the Office of Student Academic Support Services.
Responsibilities include providing academic/student-services for student athletes; coordinating student-athlete study hall/tutors and academic mentors; monitoring continuing eligibility requirements and managing data through NCAA Compliance Assistant Internet; reporting and projecting NCAA academic performance program, team scores; coordinating NCAA continuing eligibility certification with CCU Registrar; developing reports and meeting with coaches regarding team and individual academic performance and developing academic recovery plans; serving as liaison between students and appropriate academic departments, colleges, and administrative offices to help student-athletes meet their academic and career goals; updating administrators, coaches, student-athletes regarding CCU and NCAA changes in policies/by-laws; and performing other duties as assigned.

Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70), full-time position with benefits. State Pay Band: 05 Normal work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs are required. Masters' degree preferred. Two (2) years of experience working with student-athlete academic/student support services preferred. Knowledge of issues by NCAA Division I student-athletes preferred. Additionally, a successful candidates should possess knowledge of NCAA degree progress requirements, NCAA academic performance program and graduation success rate; the ability to communicate orally and in writing, exercise good judgement; the ability to perform a variety of duties; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
