Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.
Prepare and ensure that sport coaches limits declarations are on file and within NCAA limits (sports other than FB/BSK/BSB and pre-season).
Monitor NCAA personnel rules for coaches, volunteers and managers (sports other than FB/BSK/BSB).
Monitor off-campus recruiting for select sports (sports other than FB/BSB/BSB).
Monitor official and unofficial visits, and ACS dashboard for select sports (sports other than FB/BSK/BSB).
Responsible for sport camp monitoring as assigned.
Manage the telephone call and text message monitoring system (policy/C&V).
Process recruiting services subscription requests.
Prepare and present education on athletics personnel and recruiting as assigned.
Review and revise as appropriate forms and policies in athletics personnel and recruiting.
Coordinate Athlete Agents program.
Review promotional activity, autograph and donation requests for NCAA compliance.
Comply with all NCAA, Big 12 and Texas Tech University rules, regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications: High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years compliance experience at a Division I institution
