Provides assistance to the Assistant Athletic Director for Academics in order to help facilitate the academic development and progress of student-athletes toward degree completion in assigned sport. This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Academics. The position will provide academic assistance to student-athletes in one or more sports, assist with departmental record keeping activities, provide assistance with departmental liaison activities, and will supervise a minimum of one graduate assistant.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field required. At least two to three years experience in an Athletic Academic office on a university campus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations.
Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field preferred with at least four years of experience working with Football Student-Athletes at a Division I University.
