Position Summary The head women's soccer coach is responsible for all aspects in leading a competitive NCAA Division I soccer program to include, but not limited to: coaching (practice and in-game), recruiting, fund-raising, positive encouragement towards student-athlete development, scheduling, and hiring staff. The successful candidate must be fully committed to all NCAA, Southland Conference, and the University of the Incarnate Word Athletics Department policies and procedures, and will be expected to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.
This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under University of the Incarnate Word's Sexual Misconduct Policy and reporting responsibilities as set out in the policy.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must have the ability to coach a successful soccer team at the college level. Successfully recruit college level academically and athletically prepared student-athletes. Ability to manage the myriad of on-going responsibilities within a competitive college soccer program including effectively managing budget, travel, staffing, and parent communications. Able to recruit, teach and coach; Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, former players, faculty, alumni, and staff. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education Bachelor’s Degree
Required Work Experience A minimum of three years of University coaching experience required.
