Description Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Experience is charged with advancing the mission and values of the OU Athletics Department by coordinating ticket sales efforts, directing advertising campaigns and delivering the Oklahoma Sooner brand through the execution of game entertainment elements with the Director Marketing and Athletics Marketing team for all 21 athletic programs but specifically focusing on women's volleyball, men's gymnastics and baseball or the combination of any other sports as deemed appropriate by Director of Marketing & Fan Experience.
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience AND 0 - 24 months marketing, sales, or other related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Strong initiative to solve problems
Communicate and interact effectively, respectfully and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department, the University, and the community
Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned tasks as both a leader and/or a follower
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, fans, student-athletes, coaches, and administrators
Must have strong ability to lead project teams
Ability to gain and maintain working knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
Driver's license to operate university vehicles

24 - 36 months marketing, sales or other related experience
Working knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
