Boise State Athletics is seeking organized, energetic and creative applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Donors Relations & Events. This position will be responsible for all of the planning, organization and execution of the athletic department’s most critical events. The incumbent in this position shall have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues. Any violation of a conference or NCAA regulation, as well as those policies of the University, could cause dismissal of a participant or staff member, as well as, create negative publicity and/or conference or NCAA standings to the program and institution.
You will have the opportunity to:
Plan, organize and support major donor events including, but not limited to:
Lyle Smith Classic, Endowment Banquet, Bronco Athletic Association Member Appreciation, Bowl game functions and special donor events
Assist in management and coordination of game day donor activities in the Stueckle Sky Center, to include special events, game day support and overall interaction with our VIP donors
Maintain individual sport enhancement support
Responsible for fostering relationships with donors, community and media, that are critical to the success of the Athletic Department
Oversee and manage budget and audit system for special events
Recruit and manage volunteers for events
Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Mountain West Conference and Boise State rules Compliance
This position will be required to work nights and weekends and some overnight travel when necessary

Minimum Qualifications (Including Certificates and Licenses):
A Bachelor’s Degree
One (1) year of experience in similar type of work
Demonstrated experience with identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors
Experience and ability to use development software, effectively manage budgets and successfully execute first-class events
Demonstrated financial and administrative experience
Professional or intercollegiate athletic experience with client/donors
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
