ABOUT THIS ROLE: K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for anEVENTS COORDINATOR, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
Oversee the day-to-day and game day management of assigned athletics events;
Organize, direct, coordinate, evaluate and schedule part-time workers; and
Site manager for assigned Big 12 Conference Championships and NCAA postseason competitions hosted by K-State Athletics, Inc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Two years of event management experience at a college athletics or professional sports level
Experience working at an NCAA Division I athletics department in event and game day management
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Experience overseeing workers
Strategic and operational planning and delivery experience
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally
Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
This position holds expectations of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, Inc. rules and regulations.
