The University of Georgia is seeking two (2) candidates to fill vacant event management intern positions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring and supervising student staff, direct sport supervision and on-site management of selected sports, scheduling staff for various athletic events, assisting full-time staff with set-up/breakdown and game operations of other home athletic events, contacting visiting teams and officials, creating and/or updating athletic operations manuals, and performing day to day office duties.
These positions will also have the opportunity to gain experience with hosting both conference and NCAA championships, as Georgia will host the 2019 SEC Swimming and Diving Championship, 2019 NCAA Gymnastics Regional, and the 2019 NCAA Men’s Golf Regional.
