The University of Tennessee Foundation seeks to fill the Associate Director of Stewardship for UT Knoxville Athletics position. The Associate Director of Stewardship’s focus is to manage, develop and implement a unique and proactive comprehensive donor relations program. This position will serve to better connect the Tennessee Fund members who are making financial contributions to the University and to strengthen their relationship on all levels. The position will work with the Tennessee Fund staff and report to the Director of Development to determine best strategies for effective stewardship and implement related recognition events and activities.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required, a Master’s degree is preferred with 4 or more years of experience in development, stewardship or related field.
Skills: Excellent computer, phone, organizational skills, communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred. Applicant should be self-motivated and should desire to operate with an excellent customer service mentality. This staff member will establish and enhance relationships throughout campus, including the ability to coordinate and manage volunteers. Applicant should have the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities in a fast-paced environment and be an expert in event creation, planning and execution.
