Boise State University invites interested applicants for the position of Video Services Graduate Assistant. The successful applicant will become part of our team as we build a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction. This position will report to the video department in athletics and will have an opportunity to be a member of our fast-paced video production environment. This position will require a strong, working knowledge and understanding of NCAA, Conference and Institutional rules and regulations.
You will have the opportunity to:
Work with 18 Boise State Division I teams
Be a part of our in-house broadcast and live stream production crew, which includes but is not limited to: camera operator, graphics coordinator, replay coordinator, technical director, director, and engineer.
Learn how to how set up and break down an entire live production.
Produce elements for graphic design and post production that will be used for internal and external media sources.
Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Mountain West Conference and Boise State rules Compliance
This position may be required to travel and will work nights and weekends.
Position will begin in June 2018
Finalist must enroll and be admitted into the Master of Athletic Leadership program (http://hs.boisestate.edu/mal/) at Boise State University upon acceptance of position
Finalist must attend classes starting in June 2018

At a minimum, you should have:
A Bachelor’s Degree
Video production experience
Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations regarding compliance issues
Experience in live video production that includes experience with various live production technology.
Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition.
Internship experience in an athletic department.

Position is a 2 year appointment. Salary will be paid as a biweekly stipend and will include primary insurance coverage. Graduate school and fees will be paid for the 2-year Master of Athletic Leadership program while maintaining completion of degree requirements.
