This position reports to the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation and duties include but are not limited to:
-Leads and supervises strength and conditioning staff (2 full-time assistants, graduate assistant) and sport-specific program planning for all Texas A&M University-Kingsville intercollegiate athletics sports (15).
-Develops and assesses long- and short-term goals for individual athletes and teams, communicates program planning with head coaches, establishes training schedules, supervises sport specific workouts, designs programs for year-round speed development, agility, and flexibility.
Master's Degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or sport-performance related discipline. CSCE Certification. Five (5) years of collegiate strength and conditioning coaching experience and/or extensive professional or Olympic athletic experience.
