- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, sports marketing or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Commitment to two-year position
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
- Experience with an Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
Other Requirements: Applicants selected for the position must then apply for and be accepted into the K-State graduate school. Assistants must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate school hours in the fall and spring semesters. Out-of-state applicants will receive in-state tuition rates however, tuition is not covered. Most athletic department graduate assistants pursue a Master of Science in College Student Personnel – Athletics Track or Master of Business Administration.
Applicant must be willing to work nights and weekends, as well as possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
