Reporting to the Dean of Physical Education and Athletics and Athletics Director, assists in coordinating, reporting, promoting, advertising and fundraising for the athletics program and related services and activities of an active and successful community college athletics program. Assist in the monitoring of the academic progress of student athletes to ensure continued eligibility and academic success. Coordinate with the Dean/Athletic Director to ensure the athletics programs are operating within the appropriate legal, conference, and CCCAA parameters and are remaining in compliance with mandated requirements such as Title IX. Train, supervises and evaluate seasonal and part-time personnel, such as ticket sellers, ticket takers, clock and scoreboard operators, statisticians, public address announcers, field workers and officials. Assume responsibility, under the guidance of the Dean/Athletic Director, for all home game management and team transportation of away games. Perform other duties as assigned.
