The Director of Student-Athlete and Leadership Development is directly responsible to the Provost (or designee) and the Director of Athletics to coordinate all aspects of the NCAA Student-Athlete Affairs program while providing for academic success and leadership development of student-athletes. The Director of Student-Athlete and Leadership Development oversees the Student Athlete Academic Services Office which includes the Associate Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services, Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services, graduate assistant and student workers. The Director oversees all aspects of a successful academic advising, monitoring and leadership development program. The Director of Student-Athlete and Leadership Development also oversees the Head Coaches of Field Hockey, Women’s Lacrosse and Women’s Basketball, their assistants and their graduate assistants. The Director of Student-Athlete and Leadership Development will also serve in sport administration and event management and represent Saint Francis on the appropriate Northeast Conference, NCAA and N4A Committees.
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Excellent computer, organization, and communication skills are necessary. Related experience, preferably at the NCAA Division I university or professional level, required.
