The Elon University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking an intern within the office of Academic Support for Athletics. Interns will have the opportunity to assist the athletic academic services staff with the day-to-day operations of the office. Responsibilities will include the monitoring of student-athlete academic progress, assisting in class registration, assisting with the supervision of study hall, preparing academic reports, and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Academic Support for Athletics. This internship will provide a range of experiences for those interested in a career in athletic academic advising.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Candidates must be highly motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants should also possess strong organizational skills and be able to assume a variety of independent responsibilities. Candidates are expected to demonstrate academic integrity and confidentiality while complying with Elon University and NCAA rules and regulations.
This is a 10 month, part time (20 hours per week) position, paying $13 per hour and may require the ability to work some evenings and Sundays.
