TITLE OF POSITION: Associate Director of Athletics, Marketing, Fan and Donor Engagement
POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Manhattan College an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), is seeking a qualified candidate for a 12 month, full-time position of Assistant/Associate Director of Athletics, Marketing, Fan and Donor Engagement for 19 varsity sports. A key member of the senior management team, this position will serve as the primary contact for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for increased attendance, collaboration with student groups, alumni, donors and sponsors with the end goal of creating an exciting game-day experience. The qualified candidate will work directly with the Director of Athletics on the Jasper Club, Young Alumni Group and donor relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES: To include but are not limited to:
Facilitate all marketing and promotional efforts for 19 varsity sports.
Develop and implement initiatives to increase fan attendance and engagement at athletic and alumni events.
Enhance existing ticket packets with a creative approach for individual, group, mini and community packages.
Director of game day presentation including fan contests, half-time entertainment and in-game promotions.
Director of all on-court and on-field recognitions, anniversaries and celebrations.
Integrate digital marketing efforts, digital campaigns and graphic designs for the department.
Develop and implement community and campus outreach programs.
Coordinate weekly meetings with campus constituents including Jasper Sports Properties (Learfield) to develop entertaining in-game promotions and activation of our sponsorships.
Coordinate and implement special events for alumni, season ticket holders and Jasper Club donors.
Collaborate with athletic staff on existing programs such as Bridge Program, JASPYS, Basketball Previews, Spirit Groups and Jasper Network.
Develop a new Young Alumni Group for the department.
Manage the internal day-to-day operations of the Jasper Club which serves as the department’s annual athletic fund.
Engage coaches in fundraising activities for their respective sport program.
Development of and primary contact for the Junior Jasper Kid’s Club and its associated activities.
Willingness to accept other duties as assigned.

Bachelors Degree required, Master’s Degree in related area preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience at the Division I level.
Assertive, outgoing, hard-working and resourceful.
Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships and create partnerships with a wide range of constituent groups.
Ability to design marketing materials; proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Required to travel and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and keep specific timelines.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
Ability to work effectively with coaches, students, faculty, administration, alumni and community.
