Houghton College, a Christian Liberal Arts College located in Western New York, seeks applicants for the position of Head Men’s Soccer Coach. The new coach will be the 5th coach in Houghton’s history, with the expectation of building upon our winning tradition. Houghton, as members of the NCAA Division III, participates in the Empire 8 conference. Houghton College is an academically rigorous and vibrant Christian college, with a tradition of student athletes excelling in the classroom as well as on the field. This is a full-time position with additional responsibilities to be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications.
- Minimum of three years of demonstrated coaching ability, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Strong working knowledge of the game with a demonstrated ability to recruit and develop athletes within a system of play.
- Demonstrated commitment to athletics as a venue for the development of the whole person.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team setting, and a commitment to sports ministry.
