Boise State University invites interested applicants for the position of Assistant Director, Multimedia Services. The successful applicant will become part of our team as we build a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction. The individual in this position will be responsible to oversee key areas of department graphic design, video board production, website maintenance and be a branding officer. This person will work on creative concepts and graphic design for all areas of the department. This person will assist in the development and implementation of Boise State Athletics’ digital presence through marketing initiatives centered on social media, email marketing and website development of the official athletic website, broncosports.com. Any violation of a conference or NCAA regulation, as well as those policies of the University, could cause dismissal of a participant or staff member, as well as, create negative publicity and/or conference or NCAA standings to the program and institution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary contact for creation and implementation of graphics that are “on brand” through multiple forms of media: print, digital, social, web and video; while providing additional support to fulfill any of the department’s sponsorship needs.
Responsible for the coordination, setup, creation and execution of videoboard elements, both branded and sponsored, at all Boise State sporting venues.
Assist both the marketing and sports information departments in the creation and maintenance of visually stunning webpages on BroncoSports.com.
Assist the Assistant Athletic Director, Marketing & Promotions with maintaining a consistent brand and graphics standards throughout the athletics department.
Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Conference and Boise State rules Compliance.
This position will be required to work nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications (Including Certificates and Licenses):
One (1) year of experience in similar type of work
Strong working knowledge of graphic design concepts and software experience with Adobe Creative Suite for various forms of media.
Understanding and knowledge of advertising media campaigns.
Knowledge in marketing within the field of intercollegiate athletics as it relates to promotion of events and execution of in-game elements.
Working knowledge of brand standards and practices.
A work portfolio of up to three (3) graphic design items that show creative use of graphic design software
Intercollegiate athletics experience
Experience in .html coding and other web design systems.
Experience in sports marketing.
Video Board Operating Software experience
Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations regarding compliance issues
