Development, Graduate Assistant/Internships
Assist Athletic Development office in all areas of fundraising including event logistics including but not limited to: registration, charitable requests, sport specific golf tournaments and reunion weekends, men’s basketball and men’s ice hockey events and annual fundraisers.
Essential Duties: -Answer Telephones and provide direction/information to donors
-Sort, Open and distribute office mail and prepare outgoing mail
-Perform intermediate and advanced computer functions including, managing databases such as event registration, creating, analyzing and integrating and importing linked spreadsheets, creating master documents and reports for daily gifts using information from several sources.
-Handle all Charitable Requests from various community programs
-Manage, implement and oversee the office’s Annual Fundraising Report
-Helps assist with all special event registration and logistics
-Work all home men’s ice hockey and men’s basketball games
Marginal Duties: -Performs all other duties as required
-May serve as internal resource on departmental administrative questions
Bachelor’s Degree required Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be admitted to or enrolled in a graduate program at Providence College starting in the Fall of 2018 Looking for a start date of ASAP. This is a 2 year position.
