Position Summary: Extramural Physical Activities. Reporting to the Director of Student-Athlete Services, the Associate Director oversees, facilitates, coordinates, and organizes the Student-Athlete Enhancement areas of Community Engagement, Leadership Advancement, and Personal Enhancement for approximately 400 student-athletes.
Assists with planning and execution of events relating to student-athletes as well as additional areas of the Student-Athlete enhancement programs and services.
Oversees the planning and implementation of the Scholar/Athlete Banquet/All Athletic Awards Banquet.
Supervises learning specialists for Student-Athlete Services.
Serves as liaison to the on-campus Academic Success Center and Student Disability Services.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree
Preferred Experience:: Five or more years of experience in Student Affairs, Student-Athlete development, or Athletic Academic Advising
