ICC is working with our client, the Colorado River Union High School District, Bullhead City, Arizona to fill the position of General Manager/Director of Facilities for the new 125,000 square foot Field House development which will open in March 2019.
The General Manager will be responsible for leadership of the overall daily management, operations, promotions and bookings for the facilities. The General Manager will also have oversight over all operating departments including but without limitation to school district athletics, club sport activities, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.
The Anderson Auto Group Field House will feature a permanent turf field for high school football and soccer as well as a full floor covering allowing for trade shows and exhibitions. The field house will have up to eight basketball floors and sixteen volleyball courts upon completion.
The successful applicant must be a well established leader and professional with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience within a multi-functional sport/entertainment event center.
The applicant must demonstrate business acumen with a client/customer service focus with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and public speaking forums.
The applicant should have experience in the following areas; marketing, contract negotiations, supervision of personnel, event booking and promoting.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a four year accredited college or university with course work in business administration, marketing, sports business or a similar related field.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
