Monitor all aspects of NCAA financial aid and act as liaison between the Office of Financial Aid Services and Athletics. Coordinate the annual coaches certification test with the UCI Testing Center. Monitor coaches recruiting activities to ensure compliance with the NCAA rules. Review all incoming high school prospects and provide preliminary evaluation for NCAA Initial Eligibility requirements. Assist in providing NCAA rule interpretation and implementation with consultation with supervisor and Big West Conference. Assist in any rules violations investigations and self-reporting through RSRO. Conduct annual orientation and NCAA rules seminar for all student athletes and coaches. Responsible for maintaining accurate records within NCAA Compliance software (CAi) and Jump Forward with respect to eligibility, financial aid, squad list, etc. Attend and make presentations at monthly coaches meetings. Represent Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance on Big West Compliance Coordinators Group as needed. Represent Assistant Athletic Director on any committees as needed. Coordinate the on-campus housing for the Fall sports prior to first day of school.
Salary: $41,269.00 - $45,000.00
