This position will manage the day-to-day elements of the Vanderbilt Athletic Ticket Office processes. This includes maintaining and cultivating new season ticket holders/donors; managing the financial reconciliation of ticket sale transactions; coordinating staffing and providing direct assistance for ticket related events.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing the overall leadership, management and strategic direction for the ticket office while maximizing revenue, efficiency, and profitability for Vanderbilt Athletics.
Responsible for using high-level strategic planning to develop and execute season and individual game ticket sales plans, manage a full-time staff of four ticket operations staff members while overseeing staff development /training and a ticket operations plan.
This position will provide direct supervision over The Aspire Group outbound sales team which includes a Director of Sales, Team Leader of New Business and three Sales Consultants. This will involve development of season ticket campaigns, new business generation, sales tracking and reporting.
Track and report daily, weekly and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability reports; meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
Oversee and develop season ticket retention program with attention to new season ticket holders and high risk accounts.
Provides superior customer service for all ticket holders.
Monitor and develop pricing strategies for all ticket related products.
Event creation, manifest builds/maintenance, pricing and management of all aspects related to putting an event on sale both internally and externally through various sales channels.
Works with marketing, communications and video departments on creation and implementation of special promotions, including list creation and segmentation.
Participates in special projects/project team(s) as assigned, to support department objectives.
Create various season ticket packages to help increase sales. Develop season ticket holder amenities/privileges and make critical decisions regarding season ticket accounts. Responsible to know all aspects of all ticket products.
Perform game day responsibilities and overseeing staff; this includes working nights, weekends and holidays.
Occasionally, represent the organization at off-site events promoting ticket sales.
Maintain oversight of all box office operations; perform daily reconciliation, including credit card authorization and preparing daily deposits.
Oversee the hiring, training and development of seasonal staff including interns and part-time employees.
Assist with all other athletic events as required which can include travel with teams to away games as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong innovation, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills.
The position will report directly to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs.
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
Three or more years of managerial experience in either a NCAA Division I athletics ticket department or professional sport team’s ticket department.
Understanding of NCAA compliance rules in regards to ticket sales and distribution.
Must possess knowledge of the Ticketmaster database ticketing system and CRM; have proficient experience with Microsoft Office and related software skills and must have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
