Create sport related publications, including graphics and copy, for distribution to media and other constituents; provide creative input to enhance the athletic department’s web site; serve as media relations contact and provide statistical coverage for assigned sports; write press releases; supervise student workers during coverage of home events; and other duties as assigned.
Skill in writing clear, concise press releases and feature stories that are distributed to the media and other constituents
Skill in working with others to develop and maintain relationships and contacts
Knowledge of nuances of intercollegiate athletics
Ability to work evenings and both days of the weekend
