Oversee all aspects of a multi-million dollar ticket sales operation within the athletic department including, but not restricted to, following state audit guidelines in all cash transactions and deposits, maintaining computer system integrity, hiring, evaluating, and training of staff, working closely with other external directors to maintain communication and develop marketing strategies for ticket sales, establishing and maintaining a philosophy of customer service throughout entire ticket office. Serve as primary sales contact for all external and internal constituents.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in ticket sales, ticket operations, fiscal management, marketing or other related experience.
This position works various athletic events both during and outside of typical business hours as well as weekends, therefore the ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
