Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) seeks an experienced individual for the full-time position of Head Coach, Women’s Volleyball. The successful individual will: instruct student athletes individually or in groups in techniques of volleyball; organize and execute effective team practice and coaching; assess volleyball players' skills and assign team positions; evaluate own and opposing team capabilities to determine winning game strategy; participate in scheduling, planning, and travel arrangements for away competition; monitor team budget; purchase and ensure maintenance of volleyball equipment and uniforms; effectively manage and evaluate assistant coach; participate in speaking engagements for the university and support community initiatives; and foster relationships with alumni, community members, and donors.

Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree along with 3-5 years’ experience coaching college volleyball. A Master's degree is preferred. Successful individual must be well-organized and possess strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and computer skills. Strong recruiting contacts in Northeast Region and beyond are essential as well as a strong knowledge of and willingness to comply with university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
