Frontline Fundraisers for the University of Illinois - Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The location for the two positions is in our Chicago Satellite office. The primary responsibility will be the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of alumni and constituents who have an affinity for Illinois athletics. Other essential duties will include football and basketball premium seating sales, coordination of athletics board meetings, and collaboration with campus units.
Assistance with athletics marketing and communication plans for the Office of Athletics Development will allow the incumbent to enhance the message for increased private support in Chicagoland. Overnight and out-of-state travel will be required, with an ability to work long hours and weekends.
A minimum of one to three years’ (Assistant Director of Development) or three to five years’ (Associate Director of Development) knowledge of the development process, corporate relations, and a strong understanding of issues facing intercollegiate athletics and athletics fundraising.Computer proficiency with the ability to work with large, complex databases such as Paciolan, Blackbaud, and Microsoft Office.
