The Deputy Athletic Director will work closely with the Director of Athletics to build a strong, positive athletics program and encourage support for the University among a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Key stakeholders include donors, student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, alumni, students, parents, the media, business and community leaders, and other supporters of Utah Valley University. The Deputy Athletic Director will innovatively operate as an adviser and liaison to the Director of Athletics while effectively managing the everyday processes of a vibrant and burgeoning NCAA DI athletic department. Additional responsibilities include oversight of assigned sport programs and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a Master’s degree in a related field plus four years of experience related to the summary of duties OR a combination of education and relevant experience totaling 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a Master's degree in a related field and six years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
