The Gator Boosters Inc. at the University of Florida is looking for a highly motivated candidate responsible for generating Major Gift solicitations of $25,000 and higher for athletic scholarship endowments and facility projects at the University of Florida. Responsibilities include generating and cultivating donor relationships, managing individual donor portfolios, identifying donor prospects, cultivating relationships and donor stewardship. This position will close on June 17, 2019.

Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date, but no offer of employment will be extended until after the position closes. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in an intercollegiate athletics or academic fundraising environment are required. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required. Master’s Degree and previous experience with creating and monitoring project budgets is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Advance and Ticketmaster Archtics computer systems. This position is exposed to confidential information and must have the ability to work discreetly to protect this information. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task with multiple priorities, be self-motivated, collaborate with other team members and bring innovative ideas to the table in office and development meetings are mandatory. The capacity to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential. A valid driver’s license until a Florida driver’s license is obtained, as well as reliable transportation are requirements for this position. The ability to work a non-standard work schedule, which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and extensive overnight travel, is also mandatory.
