The Director of Video and Digital Production will oversee all daily, weekly and yearly aspects of video production for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference office. Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Commissioner for Administration, this position works directly with the league office and member institutions to promote and maintain a positive image of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The individual is also responsible for working with all related areas to ensure that the conference is providing a collaborative message that will successfully integrate with the Commissioner’s initiatives. Some of those areas include working with our broadcast partners. This position will adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations and fall under the ultimate supervision of the Commissioner.
Essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Manage the relationships between the Conference and its live event streaming platform provider.
Coordinate with member institutions to improve the quality and content of campus produced live event coverage for this platform.
Manage the relationship between the Conference and its various scouting video platform providers (Synergy, Dragonfly, etc.)
Produce high quality, creative video productions for electronic distribution through social and digital media channels for the MEAC.
Direct and manage all video operations and creative services for the Conference Office.
Film, edit and produce content for various events and activities both on and off-campus.
Coordinate live and post-production videos for all sports programs and provide engineering support for production facilities and equipment.
Participate in weekly brainstorming meetings for content.
Edit existing, archived video to produce highlight packages.
Work closely with the office’s marketing and digital media area and media relations staff, to implement and develop social media distribution plans for coverage of member institutions’ teams and student-athletes.
Log all footage shot and help organize video archives in conjunction with other video partners.
Produce recruiting videos and highlight videos as requested.
Oversee creative video production student intern staff (as applicable).
Assist with various duties and miscellaneous functions throughout the year as assigned by the Senior Associate Commissioner.
Serve as a member of the conference office’s external team, tasked with growing the MEAC brand through effective messaging, increasing fan engagement.
Ensure and comply with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the performance of job duties.

Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum two years of video production work at the college or professional sports level.
Ability to think creatively.
Ability to create cutting-edge content for @MEACSports social channels (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Must demonstrate problem-solving skills and solution-focused approach to challenges and improvements.
Ability to utilize good judgment in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures and to exercise discretion in confidential matters is essential.
Ability to work well both independently and/or in collaboration with staff as a team member.
Must possess outstanding work ethic, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
Must have a service-oriented attitude.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Concur, M-Pathways, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Film, Broadcast Journalism, Engineering, or related field experience in multimedia or video production services, preferably related to a sports program.
