The All For One Fund Coordinator is responsible to execute the athletic development initiatives that support the goals and objectives for growth of the All For One Fund. This includes implementing plans to grow the number of donors and the amount of donations annually as well as fundraising for the 18 intercollegiate athletic teams at Xavier. This position has a primary focus on donors at the $1,000 level and below. Aspects of event management are also fundamental to the position as well as marketing and growing the AFO program.
Primary duties and responsibilities for this position includes:
Develop event and stewardship plan for Xavier University’s 18 varsity sports in partnership with the Director of the All For One Fund (AFO).
Coordinate all day to day activities of the AFO. This includes the solicitation schedule, mailing design/concept, extracting data lists, and working with the print partner. Execute all solicitation mailings, benefit fulfillment and stewardship plans for the All For One Fund.
Event planning for AFO related events for donors and prospects. Includes fundraising events and AFO benefit events such as Chalk Talks, the AFO Golf Outing, donor dinners, etc. Coordinate invite lists, design and oversee invitation and event registration process.
Coordinate activities with University Relations and utilize prospect management and tracking systems.
Cultivate relationships with donors and prospects to determine their interest and what fits best for them. Communicate directly with donors and prospects through phone calls, meetings and personal visits. This position is the first point on contact for any issues related to a donor or prospect.
With a small staff, candidate must manage projects daily. Projects include events, benefit fulfillment, and solicitation letters. Deadlines are realistic and projects are prioritized based on the needs of the department.
Maintain expenses within a given budget, turn in credit card receipts and reimbursement forms and make travel arrangements.
Keep calendar up to date and attend weekly meetings related to activities in the annual fund and alumni relations.
Written communication includes writing copy for AFO print pieces, invitations, e-newsletters, websites and social media. Includes writing proposals and preparing presentations.
