Sodexo is a seeking a National Brand Manager to lead the student athletic services portfolio to ensure all managers and staff buy into the vision and deliver at the highest level. Be recognized by the market at the operational head of the Athletics.
Other responsibilities include:
Deployment, operational support, quality assurance of the Athletic Performance and Fanthology Offers.
Talent selection and succession planning for key operational positions
Collaborating with sales team on targeting, pursuit, and pitch strategies to successfully win new business
Constant market evaluation to identify risks and opportunities for Sodexo
Speaking at industry events on behalf of Sodexo
Identify operational efficiencies, best practices, and collaborate with offer development to propagate across portfolio
Collaborate with SME's to scope and support the deploy of fan, athlete, and back of house technology
Set strategic KPI's, inclusive of fan audience engagement and marketing metrics
This is a virtual position that will be located out of a home based office. This role requires ability to travel up to 50% of the time and home office location anywhere in North America (US or Canada) near a major airport
The Ideal Candidate :
Proven track record of successfully managing (operational) a national region
Target driven and results focused
Natural leader and motivator of people; strong executive presence
Relevant industry experience of asset lifecycle (design, build, fund, operate, and manage) and knowledge of the market.
Understanding of both client and PBSA go-to market strategies (operational, marketing, cultural differences)
Holds relevant technical certifications (mental health first aid, first aid, security, etc)
Advanced user of all Microsoft tools, StarRez, Blackboard, and CBord
Strong command of Student Affairs practice
Leads implementation and evaluation of product/service offerings, brands, and/or inhouse signature and national brands. Deploys and monitors Brand Strategies. Utilizes information from market research, sales, vendors and units to make recommendations that improve quality, sales and profitability. Develops and maintains tools for training, evaluation and quality assurance of operational programs. Provides input to the marketing leads regarding opportunities for product/service or brand enhancements. Qualifications
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
