Siena College has an immediate opening for a Senior Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA). Siena College is a member of the NCAA and supports 22 Division I athletic programs which compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The Senior Associate / SWA has direct responsibility for the department's student services area which includes the Student Success Office, Compliance, Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, and sport oversight of Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, and Volleyball. The Senior Associate liaisons with the College's Enrollment Management division, Student Life division, and Academic Affairs. The Senior Associate represents the College in the MAAC governance structure and is the primary contact on NCAA related matters. In addition, the Senior Associate assists with policy formulation, strategic planning, and operates the department in the absences of the Vice President/Director of Athletics.
Requirements include bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience in college athletics. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment. A background screening will be required.
