This position provides direct support for the Life Performance unit, which is responsible for student-athlete development, career development initiatives, community engagement and outreach programs, and social responsibility programming.
Must adhere to all University of Kentucky, SEC & NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist in developing The Kentucky Road (TKR) Roadmap, a student-athlete pathway with defined professional objectives for each academic year and established outcome measures. The information will be pulled into CANVAS, where each SA will be able to build their own unique journey.
Create written content and conceptualize ideas for TKR website and work alongside the video production team to develop videos that tell the stories of our student-athletes as they pursue PRO-Career, Student, and Athlete paths.
Serve as the main contact for all alumni database systems and alumni communication re: upcoming career events, job offerings, etc. Work alongside the developer of the database systems to effectively use information gathered to promote connection and relationship to UKAD.
Assist with management of TKR Social Media accounts.
Provide technology and editing support to current UKAD web developer to update and keep current the Student-Athlete Experience Division's web content and website
Add support to all events (in-person, virtual, etc) that the Life Performance team provides/hosts
Stipend: Up to $2,500 per month.
