Reporting to the Director of Athletics, and working in partnership with the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and the Graduate Assistant/Communications, the Director of Multimedia/Creative Services and Marketing is responsible for the day to day management of social media, graphic design, video content and photography as well as the oversight of home video webcasts and the management of the athletic department radio network. This position will also oversee an internship program, assist in elements of marketing and special events for the department, and perform other duties within the department as assigned. The selected candidate must follow all university policies and procedures in addition to rules and bylaws of the NCAA and the Great American Conference.
Additional Salary Information: In pursuit of this commitment, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in a fast-paced intercollegiate athletics environment in the above areas is required. Candidate must possess proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign, etc.), the ability to
produce compelling creative content, and excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with sports photography, social media management platforms and Sports Sounds Pro music software preferred. A demonstrated desire to grow in the position and in the profession as a conscientious self-starter is vital.
