This is a professional position responsible for assisting in providing comprehensive academic advising and support service programs to assigned student-athletes. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring student-athletes’ degree progress and NCAA academic eligibility; assigning and verifying study hall hours and coordinating tutorial sessions; conducting proactive mentoring with identified at-risk student-athletes; and assisting with recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Supervises assigned student staff. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Student Services and assigned Head Coaches.
