The Student-Athlete Success Coordinator manages the retention, completion, and preparation for student-athlete transfer through academic intervention services while assisting with NJCAA eligibility compliance. The coordinator is responsible for scheduling meetings with each AACC student-athlete to establish educational goals and academic plans while determining checkpoints for academic success. The coordinator will track academic progress, perform degree audits, verify graduation applications, monitor current class standing, recommend and approve schedule changes, and perform preseason and postseason data reviews for eligibility requirements. In addition, the coordinator will monitor student-athletes academic progress through study hall and serve as a liaison to additional student support services. This position also works closely with our Student-Athlete Advisory Council, providing advocacy and programming.

Associate's degree or higher
Two years experience with NJCAA or NCAA Eligibility
Ability to work tactfully with student-athletes, parents, faculty, staff, and the local community to educate and explain the eligibility process and rules
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and familiarity with intercollegiate sports teams and terminology.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends to accommodate the needs of the department
