Essential Functions: • Drive event strategy and execution for Awardees of Distinction, Varsity Walk Celebration and annual alumni reunions for each varsity sport as well as VLC Tailgates at select home football games. • Create and implement comprehensive communication strategy from Varsity Letter Club to all Forever Panthers. • Serves as Pitt Athletics liaison to Pitt Alumni Association (PAA) to create greater alignment between Varsity Letter Club and PAA. • Educate current student-athletes, in partnership with Cathy & John Pelusi Family Life Skills program, about the importance of staying connected to Pitt following their competitive careers. • Oversee the management of Forever Panther database to ensure accurate records within Affinaquest CRM, with support from PAE Records Management team. • Assist the Panthers to Pros Mentorship program's efforts to recruit mentors for current student-athletes. • Partner with Panther Club to implement strategies for identifying and cultivating Forever Panthers to support Pitt Athletics philanthropically. • Evaluates programs and makes revisions for improvement. Proposes new departmental events and programs. • Establishes and monitors the department's budget.
