The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame is seeking an accomplished and experienced leader for the position of Senior Director, Marketing & Brand Strategy. The Senior Director will lead an integrated marketing and communications team in the development and execution of a brand strategy for the College. In addition to building the reputation of the College through the scholarship and research of its exceptional faculty, the Senior Director will Grow the Good in Business™ by increasing awareness, interest and demand for the College's premier undergraduate program and diverse portfolio of 11 exceptional graduate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy for the College's research accomplishments, premier undergraduate program and exceptional graduate programs, including residential MBA (2 year full time and 1 year accelerated), working professional (Global EMBA and Executive MNA) and residential specialized master's (MNA, MSA, MSBA, MSBA-Sports Analytics, MSF, MSM) degree programs.
Collaborate closely with College leadership, faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders to identify and implement strategies for storytelling, lead generation, strategic communication and brand elevation.
Lead an integrated team of creative professionals across a number of functions, including communications, content, digital advertising, data analytics, operations, portfolio marketing management, web and social media.
Oversee the creation of compelling content and the development of distribution platforms that effectively communicate the College's mission and achievements to key audiences.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Oversee the strategic allocation of resources, including talent and budget.
Establish measurement systems, share reports and utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously enhance the effectiveness of marketing, content and advertising efforts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with campus partners, other institutions, media outlets, advertising partners, alumni, and other external constituencies to support the College's strategic priorities.
Represent the College externally to create awareness of our brand, interest in our work and demand for our programs; position the College as a thought leader with a distinctive voice.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in the brand, marketing and communications fields as well as business education.
